Khosro Khaloghli
Khosro Khaloghli — Chairman of the Board

Maverick Residential Company’s Chairman of the Board, Mr. Khaloghli is one of the country’s most successful real estate developers.  He has a continuous history of profitable projects in residential, multifamily, office and industrial.

He is founder and CEO of California-based Caspian Properties, Inc. Beginning with residential developments in Southern California, Caspian expanded over 40+ years of operation into the development, building, ownership, and management of residential and apartment communities in California, Texas, and Nevada.

With a background in urban planning and a Ph.D. in urban economics, Mr. Khaloghli’s grasp of developing patterns and emerging market demands allowed Caspian to stay ahead of demographic and regional trends and find strategic opportunities in any economic climate. 

Opportunities in the development of distribution centers and other industrial projects in Southern California led to Mr. Khaloghli founding KB Development, a highly successful venture entitled or developed over 11 million of square feet of office and industrial space.  KB Development’s strategic investment in multifamily in the Phoenix area since 2015 has also proven to be very successful. Mr. Khaloghli’s companies are known for their efficient structuring, adaptability, and innovation.
Jeffrey Krohn — President and CEO

As President and CEO of Maverick Residential Company, Mr. Krohn is responsible for the strategy, vision and growth of the multifamily industry’s newest management company. 

Most recently as the Vice President of Operations for Alliance Residential Company, Jeff Krohn oversaw the operations of third-party managed assets in Arizona with over 16,500 units in his portfolio.

Throughout his 13 year tenure with his previous employer, he operated in several integral roles and obtained an extensive background in market research, analysis and reporting. During his time as the Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Krohn created the Business Development platform and was instrumental in growing the portfolio from 60,000 to 100,000 units.

In addition to increasing the management portfolio over the span of five years, Jeff was also instrumental in creating efficiencies in the overall organizational structure through utilization of custom-built platforms, improved workload management and a sharper focus of resource allocation.

Adam LeClair — CFO

Mr.LeClair brings over sixteen years of property management and real estate experience to Maverick Residential.  He purchased his first rental property when he was in high school, and has been an accountant for over a decade.

During his tenure at Onni as the Director of Finance and Operations, he built the company’s US operation throughout the Phoenix, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle markets. This was inclusive of the corporate infrastructure for the management, development, and acquisition of assets.

His most recent position as Vice President of Process Improvement at Progress Residential diversified Mr. LeClair more than he could have anticipated. Managing over 19,000 single family homes, he reorganized and streamlined the financial reporting, treasury, information technology, and property accounting teams to create efficiencies and reduce operating costs.

In his spare time, Mr. LeClair enjoys spending time with his wife and their two amazing children, collecting vinyl (yes, vinyl records), cooking, and staying fit.
Jasmine Greene — Vice President

As the Vice President of Operations for Maverick Residential Company, Ms. Greene will be responsible for the oversight of all property operations. Her experience covers a diverse portfolio of multifamily communities, specializing in repositioned assets. 

Jasmine began her career in property management over eleven years ago as an onsite sales associate with Fairfield Residential. In 2012, she was recruited as an assistant manager for Alliance Residential Company. Throughout her career with her previous employer, Jasmine was a member of over six prestigious committees that focused on processes and efficiencies with an emphasis on operations.

She earned several company awards for excellence in teamwork, leadership, and value-add.  As a Regional Manager she was responsible for the operational oversight of ten assets; including marketing plan execution, and strategic planning of capital improvements.

She is well versed in overall property assessments, due diligence, acquisitions, dispositions, budgets, contract negotiation, maintaining and exceeding set budgeted goals, and implementation of policies and procedures. Jasmine enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, and laughing at her own jokes.
Nick
Nick Orton - Director of Maintenance

Mr. Orton brings over 10 years of experience to the vital role of Director of Maintenance.  Mr. Orton brings to the team specialized certification and recognized skills in all facets of facilities management including:  HVAC, plumbing, electrical, capital expense forecasts, preventative maintenance, due diligence and contract negotiation.


Timely, efficient execution of work orders is a key driver of every projects success.  Mr. Orton’s track record of hiring and managing highly motivated, skilled teams to provide unparalleled customer service to residents and preserve asset value for owners is well established.

 

Mr. Orton graduated with a Bachelors degree from Arizona State University.  In his off time, Mr. Orton is the lead guitarist in his band.

Fernando Aguilar
Fernando Aguilar - Director of Technology

Fernando Aguilar is the Director of Technology at Maverick Residential Company where he leads the strategic planning and management of technical operations and IT systems. Having started his career while attending Saint John’s University, Fernando brings over 25 years of experience in the field of information technology, including 17 years in the multi-family industry.

Prior to joining Maverick, Fernando served as a Systems Support Engineer and Network Administrator for Alliance Residential Company. During his career at Alliance, he was responsible for designing and supporting critical infrastructure systems, in addition to managing an active help desk team covering most of the country.

A result of his endless passion for exemplary customer service, Fernando oversaw the design and implementation of the company’s first cloud-based ticketing system that is now used by many of its internal departments. His commitment to excellence has resulted in many awards over the years including the company’s coveted President’s Award.
Maureen Thompson
Maureen Thompson - HR Business Partner

Ms. Thompson brings extensive human resource leadership experience to Maverick Residential. She has a background that spans roles as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Rural/Metro (over 10,000 employees) and an entrepreneurial spirit of working in a true start up capacity.

Ms. Thompson is committed to providing employees with a human resource approach that is integrated in the operations and allows them to be successful. Additionally, Maureen has experience in the property management segment through her work with Haven Homes and Progress Residential.

Maureen looks forward to helping us ensure we capture the spirt of being Mavericks! In her spare time, Maureen enjoys playing golf, running with her 3 dogs, biking and eating at new restaurants. Maureen graduated from Michigan State University and enjoys cheering on the Spartans.
